The portal in College Football 27 shows you an overall and not much else. That number hides a lot. A 78 overall quarterback with 90 throw power and 60 accuracy is a very different player from a 78 with the opposite. Portal Buster shows you all 54 ratings straight from EA's CFB27 data, plus his dev trait, his archetype, his abilities and how much room he has to grow.
Start typing a name. Pick the player. You get his overall, his dev trait, his class year, where he's from, his six best ratings, and every ability he has unlocked. Hit Show all remaining ratings for the full card. The Skill Group Upgrades panel shows what he can still level up and what it costs.
EA changed ratings and added more than 1,800 players in the August 27 update. The tabs let you flip between the two rosters. If your dynasty started before the update, use Pre Update. Everyone else should use the Aug 27 roster.
